Froggy made me do it!! I saw Froggy's flounce on her Blog and couldn't stop thinking about this Sweater. She sent me a note and prodded me to make it... and that was it. The pattern is from a Colinette leaflet called "Comfy Cozy," and the yarn is Colinette Point 5 - colorway Venezia. The ruffle goes ALL the way around the sweater, and the pattern calls for it to be knitted in pieces and then sewn up. I got one honkin' big circular and did the whole thing at once.
I made this in about 3 weeks while Marc was traveling for work. I can't remember where this pattern came from, but I upsized it a bit since it didn't have an XL sizing. The yarn was Jo Sharp Silk Road Ultra, and it was absolute heaven to work with.
This was the second sweater I made. The pattern is from a Schoeller Stahl Pattern book and the yarn is the recommended yarn - it was Schoeller Stahl Sunshine.
Hello. I am Elfin and I am the reason she now needs glasses. My ruffles are so pretty, but beware... casting on hundreds and hundreds of teeny tiny stitches... well, beauty is pain.

This yarn GREW like crazy with each wear. I now need to shrink this a little.
